Starbucks announces the opening of Singapore’s first Community Store at Active Garden, Gardens by the Bay. The store aims to support mental wellness and foster community engagement, reflecting the company’s ongoing mission to create nurturing spaces where individuals can come together and form meaningful connections.

Starbucks Philippines continues its commitment to youth education with the opening of its second community store in the market in Maysilo Circle, Mandaluyong City. This new store adds to the global network of over 200 Starbucks® Community Stores and over 50 stores in the Asia Pacific region. Starbucks Community Stores create environments that aim to help uplift communities in locally relevant ways. These store concepts – led by partners who directly connect to the initiative or cause of that store – provide intentional and dedicated programming and experiences.

The Starbucks Community Store Program reaffirms the brand’s commitment to inclusion and engaging local communities.

The Starbucks Foundation and Starbucks licensee partner PT Sari Coffee Indonesia announced a joint donation of IDR 5 billion (approximately US$314,000) to World Central Kitchen to enable the nonprofit to provide over 100,000 meals to people in Gaza.

Starbucks Korea marks the tenth year of its partnership with JA Korea in delivering career education. Since the program began in 2015, over 1,900 Starbucks partners have volunteered after completing specialized training courses. These volunteers have visited approximately 546 vocational high schools nationwide, serving as career mentors to over 18,000 students.

Every April, Starbucks partners (employees) from all around the world come together to fulfill our Mission and Promises by creating a positive impact on our planet and in our communities during Global Month of Good. We celebrate our 14th Global Month of Good this year by bringing partners together in partnership with local community organizations to use our scale for good.

On February 17, Starbucks celebrated the graduation of 46 partners (employees) who earned their bachelor’s degrees with Hanyang Cyber University as part of the Starbucks Korea College Achievement Plan. More than 400 partners have graduated from the program since its inception in 2016.
