Discover the new iconic Starbucks store at Singapore Chinatown

Starbucks® Singapore unveiled their new landmark store at 37 Smith Street in Chinatown—Singapore’s first Starbucks® store to be housed within a heritage shophouse.

The store combines the vibrant culture of Chinatown with thoughtful design, creating a welcoming space where tradition meets contemporary comfort. The store’s exterior showcases a stunning mural by local artist Tiffany Lovage, celebrating the connections sparked by coffee, and paying tribute to the rich history of Chinatown with an image of a bullock cart carrying coffee cherries.

The Starbucks® storefront is an homage to local craftsmanship with “星巴克®” (Starbucks®) written in elegant Chinese calligraphy, meticulously crafted by Calligraphy Master Yong Cheong Thye. This unique signage is complemented by intricate wood carvings by Master Cheh Kai Hon, blending traditional artistry with modern design.

Starbucks® delivers store exclusive drinks that incorporate a unique twist to classic Singaporean favorites. From the Black Sesame Oatmilk Coffee Frappuccino® with Soy Pudding to the indulgent Yuan Yang Coffee Frappuccino®, these beverages are designed to bring comfort and joy to every sip.

Starbucks® teams up with Old Seng Choong®, a homegrown heritage brand known for its innovative take on traditional Singaporean flavors, to bring an exciting lineup of locally inspired treats. From flaky pastries and airy chiffon cakes to indulgent Swiss rolls, each treat is a delicious tribute to Singapore’s most cherished flavors—reimagined for today’s taste buds.

Exclusive merchandise made in collaboration with local artists JunleFont and WHENIWASFOUR will be available at the 37 Smith Street store.
