Global Community Impact Grants
The Starbucks Foundation has over a 25-year history of investing in communities across the U.S. and globally. In March 2022, The Starbucks Foundation announced a $30 million investment by 2030 in a new Global Community Impact Grants portfolio designed to drive locally relevant impact in the communities where Starbucks operates around the world.

To realize and scale the initiative, The Starbucks Foundation invites Starbucks licensees which operate the Starbucks stores across its three international regions – Asia Pacific; Europe, Middle East & Africa; and Latin America & the Caribbean – to nominate local nonprofit organizations for grants. These grants aim to support programs that create meaningful local or regional impact. As part of the initiative, Starbucks international licensees and business partners join The Starbucks Foundation in investing in local nonprofits, providing in-kind donations and engaging volunteers, for greater impact in addition to the grants.

More than $5 million in grants awarded to over 100 nonprofits across 45+ markets
In 2023, we are awarding over $1.8 million in grants to 60+ nonprofits across 36 markets
More than half of all Starbucks global markets have participated in the Global Community Impact Grants program by nominating local nonprofit organizations. In its second year, The Starbucks Foundation awarded grants to over 60 nonprofits, totaling over $2.5 million in value between grants and co-investment from markets. These investments will build on our commitment to supporting local communities with Starbucks presence.
