Starbucks partners celebrate Pride at events across U.S.

The T-shirts that Starbucks partners are wearing in honor of Pride Month say it all: “You belong here.” Across the country, partners gathered locally to celebrate Pride at parades, in their stores and at other community events – part of Starbucks long tradition of supporting and celebrating the LGBTQIA2+ community year-round.

For June, a Starbucks partner (employee) and recent graduate through Starbucks College Achievement Program, Pride Month is a special time to remember what it means to live her truth.

Muralist and illustrator Sofie Birkin’s collection is the latest offering in Starbucks Artist Collaboration program, available in Starbucks stores in the United States and Canada starting May 28.

Through the lens of two long-time retail partners who are also part of the LGBTQIA2+ community, we reflect on how Starbucks has learned and grown over the years to become an inclusive safe haven – with our partners consistently driving the company’s efforts.
