To Be Welcoming: Welcoming Dialogue on Sexuality Bias – This free class is presented by ASU Online as part of Starbucks Global Academy’s “To Be Welcoming” curriculum. The course identifies biases affecting LGBTQ+ communities and introduces key terms and concepts that help us understand what we mean by sexual identity and gender identity.

The Trevor Project’s Coming Out Handbook  – The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ young people under 25. 

Transgender Resource Hub – The National Center for Transgender Equality works to increase societal understanding and acceptance of transgender people in society, and advocates for policies to protect transgender rights.

Be an Ally

Resources for Allies – HRC (Human Rights Campaign) fights for equality under the law for all LGBTQ+ people. Their goal is “to ensure that all LGBTQ people, and particularly those of us who are trans, people of color and HIV+, are treated as full and equal citizens within our movement, across our country and around the world.”
