Your holiday giving goes twice as far with a match from The Starbucks Foundation
Double your impact—this holiday season, give to these organizations and The Starbucks Foundation will match your gift, up to $200,000 for each one.
This December, we’re supporting three organizations that share our commitment to strengthening communities across the U.S.—working to empower youth, bring unsheltered families inside and help feed people in need. When you give to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, United Way, and Feeding America® through the links below, The Starbucks Foundation will match up to $200,000 for each organization. We’re also highlighting each non-profit on the Starbucks mobile app throughout the month, giving our customers a chance to learn more about their missions and how we partner with them. All part of giving more by giving together.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and its 246 local agencies create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power, promise and potential of youth (“Littles”), and their adult mentors (“Bigs”). Big Brothers Big Sisters is a key partner in the 10,000 Connections campaign powered by Starbucks, LinkedIn and MENTOR, which aims to close the mentoring gap by recruiting volunteer mentors. Together, these partners work to ensure more youth have a mentor to help them achieve their biggest possible futures. Learn more and give at: www.bbbs.org/starbucks
United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in every community. From help with rent or utilities, to job training, access to healthy food and quality childcare, United Way connects people with resources that matter. United Way works with Starbucks partners and local organizations across the country to tackle tough problems like homelessness, and creates opportunities for youth and unsheltered families to get on a path toward a stable, successful future. Feeding America’s mission is to feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of 200 member food banks, and engage our country in the fight to end hunger. Starbucks partners are strong advocates for food donations and many partners volunteer with their local food banks. Starbucks is working with the Feeding America network to rescue unsold food available from U.S. company-owned stores, with more than 20 million meals donated to date through the Starbucks FoodShare program—and also supports mobile pantry programs at local food banks to help feed children and families in underserved areas.
