S’well Bottles feature original artwork from Kelsey Montague, available at Starbucks

Street artist Kelsey Montague is known for her uniquely creative style and other-worldly murals designed to be interactive. Passersby’s can become part of a living work of art as they raise their arms in front of a pair of majestic wings or pose as they are sending a flock of birds into flight. Montague and her sister, Courtney, have hand-drawn pieces in cities across the United States and in Australia, Argentina, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mauritius, New Zealand, Switzerland and the UK.

“I believe that art should not be separated from the human experience,” said Montague. “Instead the human experience should have a hand in creating the art itself.”

Now Starbucks customers can take a piece of her art wherever they go with the Kelsey Montague + Starbucks S’well collection. The series of four limited-edition reusable 17-ounce bottles are available exclusively at select Starbucks stores in the United States and Canada starting for $41.95, while supplies last.

Design

Each design in the collection features creative illustrations that intertwine art, inspiration and the human experience. Her pen and ink drawings have an ethereal quality. Two bottles are adorned with a pair of wings; another features a floating cityscape and a fourth weaves together a tangle of flowers, feathers and a twin-tailed siren with splashes of blue and green. Like her murals, each S’well bottle design is signed by the artist with her hashtag #WhatLiftsYou, inviting the viewer to share what is most meaningful in their lives.

“My sister and I visit Starbucks every day when we are on the road creating street art,” said Montague. “I am overjoyed that these bottles will sit on the shelves of a company that has fueled us on this incredible, creative journey.""

The Kelsey Montague + Starbucks S’well bottles are composed of BPA-free food-grade, 18/8 stainless steel.

""My goal with this collection was to create designs that feel organic, whimsical and inspiring, while drawing hue inspiration from water,"" she said. “This inspiration signifies S’well’s positive environmental efforts and impact.”
