Thanks to your support Starbucks baristas are earning college degrees

What happens when a creative company and an innovative university think outside the box? You get the Starbucks College Achievement Plan. In 2014, Starbucks and Arizona State University (ASU) came together to provide a tuition-free college education to thousands of Starbucks partners (employees) across the United States. Now more than 7,100 full and part-time Starbucks partners are participating in the program at ASU. And we are committed to graduating 25,000 partners by 2025.

Watch how your support of Starbucks is helping put a barista’s name on a diploma.

When you hear about the program, it really does sound too good to be true. There are more than 60 unique bachelor's degrees. The ASU online degree is identical to those earned by on-campus students. And once students graduate, they are free to move on from Starbucks, no strings attached.

When opportunity knocks at your door, you need to answer it, right? I would be a fool not to take it. I would be a fool not to answer the door and let opportunity come in.

Victor, Starbucks barista since 2010
