Thousands Attend 100,000 Opportunities Initiative Job Fair in LA

Editor's note: The week of 2/15 we'll provide an update on the number of job offers extended, and share the remarkable story of the last person hired before the fair ended Thursday.

The 100,000 Opportunities Initiative is in Los Angeles, where more than 30 companies will engage with 6,000 young people registered to attend the day-long resource and job fair today.

The Los Angeles Opportunity Hiring Fair features inspirational experiences for youth and their families, including job interviews, college counseling, resume building, workshops and skills development, and access to vital resources.

CEOs, business leaders and motivational speakers are engaging directly with youth in attendance, many of whom are not currently working and are not in school.
