Starbucks introduced Christmas Blend in 1984, starting what has become a beloved tradition. Each year, designers create a new bag for the latest Christmas Blend vintage. In the spirit of “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” we are looking back at twelve years of designs that capture the imagination and fun details of the season.

Cozy winter villages and starry nights. Whimsical scenes of ice-skating, caroling, and playing in the snow. Shiny ornaments, boughs of holly, gifts, and trees bedecked with garlands and stars. These are the joyful images that have delighted Christmas Blend fans over the years.

The 2016 design celebrates the aged Sumatra coffee beans that are at the heart of Christmas Blend. Notice the subtle artwork embedded in the festive, red bags. Like hidden gems, intricate illustrations tell stories of the land and careful work that goes into growing Sumatra coffee. This special recipe of aged Sumatra, Latin American, and Indonesian beans is our gift to you.
