Learn how to make this frothy, iced espresso drink
Meet your new favorite chilled coffee drink: the Shakerato, our twist on the Italian classic.
- 2 shots of espresso
- ½ tablespoon Starbucks® Classic Syrup or simple syrup
For sweet cream
- 1 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup half-and-half or whole milk
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add espresso and syrup. Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds. Strain into a glass. Top with foam. Add sweet cream if desired.
For sweet cream:
In a medium saucepan, add condensed milk and half-and-half. Over low heat, stir on and off for about 5-10 minutes until fully incorporated. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated. Good for up to 2-3 weeks.
