China – Starbucks Dragon Dumplings

Dragon boat races and the tradition of giving dumplings have been a part of China’s annual Dragon Boat Festival for more than 2,000 years.

In summer, Starbucks offers a twist on the traditional rice delicacy with Starbucks® Dragon Dumplings, a frozen summer confection made of shaved ice mixed with coffee, tea and fruit flavors. This year’s gift pack includes Strawberry & Cream, Earl Grey Jelly, Mango, Green Tea & Red Bean, and Coffee Almond.

Peru – Lúcuma Crème Frappuccino

Starbucks opened its first store in Peru in the capital city of Lima over a decade ago in 2003. For the first time this summer, all 69 stores in the country will offer the Lúcuma Crème Frappuccino® blended beverage.

Lúcuma is a tropical fruit native to Peru’s Andes Mountains and has been important since ancient times. Known as “Oro de los Incas” (Gold of the Incas) its tangy orange flesh is one of the favorite flavors of Peruvians. The Lúcuma Crème Frappuccino® blended beverage was developed locally to highlight one of the country’s most distinctive and exquisite flavors.

Greece – Yogurt Frappuccino

Greek yogurt, known for its thick and creamy texture has been a part of Greek meals for centuries: with vegetables, over rice, or as a savory tzatziki. This summer, Starbucks in Greece will again offer its take on the ancient staple with Yogurt Frappuccino® blended beverages handcrafted with Greek yogurt. It is available in three flavors, Strawberry, Banana and Honey.

Japan – Banana Frappuccino

Japan launched their new Banana Frappuccino® blended beverage with a summer party and fashion show with designs by celebrated designer Tetsuya Chihara. Each beverage contains a full, fresh banana and is offered in three flavors: Banana, Banana and Chocolate, and Banana and Caramel.
