Chai tea has a deep and rich history throughout India. Its roots can be found in the traditional medicinal philosophy dating back thousands of years. This type of tea is traditionally made up of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves and pepper.

“Chai tea offers a great mix between the exotic and approachable,” said Jason Adams, tea category manager at Teavana. “The spices, when blended properly, can create a sweet, complex, yet balanced infusion.”
