Create Wonder and Share Joy with Starbucks Chorus

Starbucks Chorus

The Starbucks Chorus was founded during the 1997 holiday season by Starbucks partners (employees) as a way to give back to the Seattle community. The group debuted at the annual Great Figgy Pudding Street Corner Caroling Competition fundraiser that year and delighted audiences with their fun, festive and uniquely-Starbucks take on holiday classics.

Today, the Starbucks Chorus has grown to more than 40 Starbucks partners who share a passion for music and caroling.

During the holiday season, they perform several times a week, spreading holiday cheer to events ranging from holiday gatherings and local tree lightings in Seattle, to special fundraisers at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

As the chorus has grown in size and popularity, supporting local causes continues to be the fabric of their holiday tradition. The chorus performs annually at the Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition in Seattle and for the past 11 years, has won the local Figlanthropy Award, raising more than $350,000 to date to help feed some of Seattle’s needy citizens.

Special Performance on “The Voice”

On Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 9pm local time, look out for the Starbucks Chorus as it kicks off the season’s festivities with a special performance on NBC’s “The Voice”.

Help create wonder and share joy by spreading Starbucks holiday cheer with friends and family on social media using the #ShareJoy hashtag.
