Congrats, grads! Starbucks College Achievement Plan celebrates 10 years

Introduced in June 2014, the Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP) is a first-of-its-kind partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) that creates opportunity for all eligible U.S. partners (employees) to earn their first-time bachelor’s degree through ASU’s top-ranked online degree program with 100% upfront tuition coverage.

Building a bridge to a better future

13,000+ graduates since program's inception in 2014 (and 25,000+ partners are current participants!)

75% of participants show career growth after graduation

20% of SCAP graduates are first-generation college students

Nearly 90% of stores in the U.S. have at least one partner in the program

Top 5 majors among partners include Psychology, Liberal Studies, Business, Organizational Leadership and English

100% UPFRONT TUITION COVERAGE

Our partners can apply for SCAP on day one, and there is no commitment to stay with Starbucks after they graduate. While many companies offer tuition benefits up to a limit of $5,250 a year, we offer full tuition coverage, all upfront.
