Starbucks and Tony Hawk team up to show how easy it is to make delicious cold coffee at home

Skateboarding icon Tony Hawk’s stunts usually have a “don’t try this at home” disclaimer, but this summer he’s premiering his chillest stunt yet and encouraging coffee lovers to ‘Try This at Home.’

Research shows that 62% of people do not know how to make good cold coffee at home.* But this summer, Starbucks and skateboarding legend Tony Hawk are teaming up to help show coffee lovers just how simple it is to enjoy rich and smooth cold coffee at home with the new Starbucks® Iced Coffee Blends and Starbucks® Cold Brew Concentrates.

Tony Hawk, known as the pioneer of modern skateboarding, doesn’t do things the easy way, from inventing legendary skateboard tricks to landing death-defying stunts. Most of his videos start with a “don’t try this at home” disclaimer – until now, as the extreme sports icon premieres his chillest stunt yet. In a series of social media videos, Tony shows just how un-extreme it is to nail delicious cold coffee at home (with his personal spin, of course).

“I’m not afraid of a challenge, which is important in my line of work. But when it comes to my coffee, I want convenient, delicious, and high-quality,” said Tony. “Now, thanks to Starbucks, making iced coffee at home is fast and easy.”

In May 2024, Starbucks expanded its at-home cold coffee lineup – including its first-ever blend crafted specially for iced coffee – making it even easier to enjoy cold coffee at home. These perfectly balanced cold coffees can be enjoyed black or with a splash of Starbucks® Creamers. For added inspiration, find recipes and tips on Starbucks Coffee at Home website.

Starbucks at-home cold coffees are available online and at retailers nationwide.
