Message from Sara: Supporting partners as we return to the office


As we prepare to return to the office a minimum of 3 days beginning next week, I want to share an update on what we’re doing to support your partner experience. First, I want to thank our Modern Workspace team for their fast and tireless work to find solutions in service of all of us.

Over the course of the coming months, we will:

  • Install approximately 500 new workstations (desk + monitors) and add 400 new monitors to collaboration and other flat surfaces to provide more space for focused work.
  • Add conference room technology to approximately 100 offices to create more space for in-person and hybrid meetings.
  • Continue to monitor and adjust our transportation and commuter offerings. As a reminder, partners in a carpool of two or more can receive no cost parking in an SSC garage.

I’m also pleased to share that we will bring more team choice for common days. We will shift our common days in the SSC from Tuesday and Wednesday to one common day for all SSC partners which will remain Tuesday. The additional common day will be either Wednesday or Thursday, defined by your team at the director level. The third day remains flexible, to be determined by agreement between partner and manager.

We will use tomorrow’s SSC Connect to share resources, including team norm setting tools, tips for choosing spaces and navigating the SSC, our full suite of commute options, building amenities, and more to support you through this transition.
