New spring beverages and merchandise are available at Starbucks Reserve® locations including the Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in Chicago, New York and Seattle – where customers can treat themselves to new espresso beverages deliciously layered with fruit puree and sweet cream, or enjoy spring flavors with a new citrus tea cocktail or ice cream coffee cocktail, while grabbing must-have coffee merchandise only available at Starbucks Reserve locations. Depending on the location, customers can place an order for take-out or to enjoy dining-in or outside. Select items are also available for delivery via Uber Eats.
Here’s what’s new this season:
The Espresso Dolce beverages brings the transition of the spring season to bloom through a combination of a beautifully and deliciously complex layering of espresso, fruit puree and sweet cream that you must taste to believe. The Mandarin Espresso Dolce is available exclusively at the Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in Seattle, Chicago and New York City, and features Mandarin and tangerine puree, fior di latte and espresso over ice. The Passionfruit Pomegranate Espresso Dolce features blood orange, passionfruit and pomegranate puree, fior di latte and espresso over ice, is available at all Roastery and Starbucks Reserve store locations. Blush Mint Julep
A refreshing rosé-inspired Julep citrus cocktail with a soft hint of mint. This tea-based cocktail includes Teavana® Jade Citrus Mint® tea paired with the citrus flavor of Aperol, botanical-forward gin and the lush, complex flavors of Cocchi Americano Rosa wine, lemon juice and simple syrup, and is garnished with a strawberry and mint sprig. Available at the Roasteries and Starbucks Reserve store in SoDo Seattle.
Pineapple Rum Float
This affogato float cocktail is a stunning take on a pineapple upside-down cake. Featuring Starbucks Reserve® Espresso, Ron Zacapa Rum, Henriques & Henriques Saveiro Madeira wine and pineapple syrup swirled around vanilla ice cream. The notes of raisin and caramel from the Madeira complement the tropical rum and pineapple syrup, creating a richly flavored and perfectly sweet spring cocktail. Available at all Roasteries and Reserve stores.
Starbucks Reserve Coffee
Starbucks Reserve coffees are extraordinary coffees from around the world. Sourced for the season, roasted at Starbucks Reserve Roasteries and crafted with care. This spring’s featured single origin coffees are from Brazil, Papua New Guinea and Sumatra.
Brazil Isidro Pereira Estate
Nestled in the fertile, sun-bathed hills of Southeast Brazil’s Carmo de Minas micro-region, Isidro Pereira Estate has produced stunning coffee for three generations. This washed coffee, from a country commonly known for sun-dried coffees, is the latest example of how the Pereira family surprises and delights the coffee world.
Flavor profile: Dried-fig and hazelnut notes with a creamy milk chocolate finish.
Sun-dried Papua New Guinea Ulya
In the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea, rugged ridgelines tower above a landscape of otherworldly beauty. Here nearly 1,000 smallholder farmers have committed themselves to the delicate method of sun drying coffee – a rarity in Papua New Guinea. For the second year, we’re proud to offer this remarkable coffee.
Flavor profile: Sweet notes of baked cherry and milk chocolate with accents of baking spices.
Many things have changed in the last 50 years – however our adoration for Sumatran coffee isn’t one of them. Renowned for its unmistakably spicy, herbal character, this coffee stands as a bold tribute to Indonesian history. For one group of audacious young farmers – known as the Kopi Alam Korintji – these beans represent a brighter future for their community. In addition to preparing the next generation of coffee stewards, this association aims to create an environmentally friendly source of income for the local economy to ensure Sumatran coffee is here to live up to its reputation for years to come.
Flavor profile: Herbal, spicy and sweet notes of cedar, cardamom and butterscotch with a creamy mouthfeel.
Spring brings fresh produce such as ripe strawberries and verdant arugula, providing a bright pop of color to Princi’s Spring menu.
