Starbucks declares August 27 the first day of fall
Celebrate with seasonal favorites PSL, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, and more
If you ask us, fall begins as soon as the Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) arrives – and 30,000 fall fanatics in the Leaf Rakers Society agree. This year, the season will start on August 27 when our fall favorites, including PSL, Salted Caramel Mocha, New Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, hit the menu at stores in the U.S. and Canada.
Fall Begins Nearly Four Weeks Early
Wait, what? Yes, you read that right. Starbucks loves fall so much that we’re extending the shortest season of the year by nearly a month. Every year, we’re blown away by those who share our fall fanaticism and lean into the fall lifestyle mid-summer. We’ve lovingly dubbed them the “beleafers,” and we’re giving them extra time this year to enjoy all things autumn. Trade in your life jacket for a fleece vest and your baseball cap for a beanie, because it’s time to unapologetically embrace our favorite season.
New Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
Cold coffee lovers rejoice, as Starbucks introduces Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew the first new pumpkin cold coffee beverage since the PSL joined the menu in 2003. The delicious fall beverage is made with Starbucks® Cold Brew, vanilla, and finished with a pumpkin cream cold foam – made with real pumpkin – and a dusting of pumpkin spice topping.
Back for the 16th year, PSL combines espresso and steamed milk with real pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. The beverage is then topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices. Available hot, iced or as a Frappuccino blended beverage.
Salted Caramel Mocha
A seasonal favorite, this beverage blends mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup, combined with espresso and milk, and topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and a sea salt sugar topping. Available hot, iced or as a Frappuccino blended beverage.
