Five Starbucks Reserve® locations in the United States will offer oatmilk as its newest non-dairy milk option starting today (Mar. 12). The locations include the Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in New York and Seattle, the Starbucks Reserve store at the company’s Seattle headquarters, the Starbucks Reserve Bar on 1st & University in Seattle, and the Starbucks Reserve Bar on Chestnut in San Francisco. Oatmilk will also be available at the three standalone Princi bakeries in Seattle (2118 Westlake Ave.), Chicago (1000 W. Randolph Street) and New York (1633 Broadway).
Starbucks locations in Europe have been offering oatmilk since January 2018. This is the first time it has been introduced in Starbucks stores the United States.
Oatmilk has gained popularity as a non-dairy milk alternative, offering a smooth and neutral flavor which complements both light- and dark-roast coffees. When steamed, the milk creates a creamy and velvety texture, perfect for the classic latte and cappuccino espresso beverages.
Starbucks Reserve locations showcase the most exquisite and sought-after coffees from around the world and are a place to experiment with coffee craft ingredients and flavors. While Starbucks does not currently have plans to expand the launch of oatmilk to the rest of its stores, the company is always listening to what is important to its customers and offering innovative beverages.
