Starbucks is committed to bringing new experiences to customers to make their lives just a little bit easier.

In 2012, Starbucks and Powermat began piloting wireless charging, which allows Starbucks customers to charge their mobile devices in-store without the use of a charger or wire.

“We are excited to welcome Daniel, Neal and Mike as new independent directors to the Starbucks board,” said Starbucks Chair Mellody Hobson.

Customers will now be able to use their own clean, personal cup at stores in the U.S. and Canada – including drive-thru, the Starbucks app, and in café.

The enhanced program also includes the ability to redeem Stars for more menu items and merchandise, such as beverages, food, and reusable Starbucks mugs and tumblers.
