Benefits provided to all eligible part- and full-time partners include comprehensive health coverage, annual Bean Stock grants, vacation accrual, retirement savings matching, Lyra for mental health, commuter benefits, Spotify Premium, paid parental leave, fertility benefits – and more.

    Bean Stock - Yearly grant of restricted stock units, which vest over two years

    Future Roast 401(k) - Starbucks will match 100% of the first 5% you contribute each pay period (regardless of whether the contribution is 401(k) pre-tax, Roth after-tax or a combination of both)

    Starbucks College Achievement Program - To further support career mobility, we're building on our stack of education benefits that support the choices partners want to make in their career path, at Starbucks and beyond. Building on our full academic tuition offerings available through Arizona State University, we are expanding upskilling opportunities to provide more options for career mobility pathways like credentials and certification programming through what will be our new Starbucks Academy.

    Family Expansion Reimbursement - Financial assistance for partners who are growing their families through adoption, surrogacy or intrauterine insemination (IUI). Up to $40,000 per partner

    Medical, Dental and Vision - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with choices for you, your spouse or domestic partner and children

    Name and gender marker change support - Access to advisory services and reimbursement up to $500, through the National Center for Transgender Equality, for eligible costs associated with changes to state and United States federal identification.

    Mental Health Benefit - Free mental health therapy for you, your spouse or domestic partner and children

    Paid Parental Leave - Paid leave for birth and non-birth parents

    Partner and Family Sick Time - Paid sick time to care for you and your family

    Student Loan Management - Access to resources to help better manage student debt

    Incentivized Savings Program - Incentivized savings plan for short-term goals and unplanned financial challenges

    DACA Fee Reimbursement - Reimbursement for government mandated DACA renewal fees

    Giving Match - Starbucks matches up to $1,000 per year in volunteer hours and financial donations to qualified non-profit organizations

    Time Off - Retail hourly partners begin to accrue vacation based on actual hours worked. Starting February 2024, hourly retail partners will accrue paid vacation beginning just 90-days after hire.

If there is any discrepancy between the information set forth above and the legal plan and trust documents, the terms of the legal plan and trust documents always govern. Starbucks must also reserve the right to amend or terminate any benefit Plan referred to herein in accordance with its terms.

Partners are empowered to choose from more than 100 diverse undergraduate degree programs, and have our support every step of the way – from a pathway to admission to their graduation day.

This year we are celebrating more than 13,000 graduates! Introduced in June 2014, the Starbucks College Achievement Plan (SCAP) is a first-of-its-kind partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) that creates opportunity for all eligible U.S. partners (employees) to earn their first-time bachelor’s degree through ASU’s top-ranked online degree program with 100% upfront tuition coverage.
