Val Bauduin is senior vice president, Corporate Finance for Starbucks. In this role, he leads the company’s global enterprise finance functions, including Accounting, Supply Chain Finance, Tax, and Treasury & Risk Management.

Before joining Starbucks in April 2024, Val was the Enterprise Opportunities Officer at Marriott International. In this role, he was responsible for supporting innovative growth partnerships and new commercial business models.

Previously, Val served as Marriott’s Chief Financial Officer for Consumer Operations, Technology, and Emerging Businesses, and led a team responsible for financial strategy, governance, controls, and reporting for the company’s 30 hospitality brands, in addition to loyalty and technology business functions. He joined Marriott in 2014 as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.

Earlier in his career, Val was a partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP. He holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, Val enjoys traveling with his wife and three sons, and occasionally finds time for photography and golf. His favorite Starbucks beverage is a Starbucks ® Blonde Roast black coffee – and a Strawberry Açaí Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers® beverage on the weekends.
