Angele Robinson-Gaylord

senior vice president, Store Development Americas

Angele Robinson-Gaylord is senior vice president, Store Development Americas. In this role, she leads the real estate, construction, design and facilities teams supporting new site development and the remodeling of existing stores.

Prior to joining Starbucks in September 2023, Angele led Store Development teams at Rite Aid and IKEA, overseeing their retail portfolios. She also worked in the U.S. Restaurant Development division at McDonald’s, supporting real estate issues for existing restaurants.

Angele holds a B.A. in political science from Stanford University and a J.D. from George Washington University School of Law. After obtaining her law degree, she practiced for more than 15 years in the areas of litigation and commercial real estate in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. In 2009, Angele participated in Project REAP, a market-driven education and professional development program that serves as a bridge between talented minority professionals and commercial real estate companies looking for talent.

Angele currently serves on the boards for ICSC (formerly known as International Council of Shopping Centers), the ICSC Foundation, Project REAP and Success Academy. She is married with two sons, and her family enjoys traveling to new countries to explore new cultures and cuisines.
