Over the last four years, The Starbucks Foundation has partnered with nonprofit organisations around the world to support 250,000 women and girls in coffee-, tea-, and cocoa-growing communities including the investment of $14 million in grants. This International Women’s Day, we are pleased to announce our new goal to positively impact 1 million women and girls by 2030.

In Africa, The Starbucks Foundation is awarding five grants to uplift women in coffee communities in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania. This year, Foundation also awarded its first-ever grant to support cocoa-growing communities in Cote d’Ivoire.

Learn more about the organisations we are supporting in Africa and across the globe.
