Starbucks serves expertly roasted coffee culture at new Reserve Bar in London’s Tower Place

Starbucks coffeehouses have become a beacon for coffee lovers everywhere: a place where customers know they can count on our unique barista and customer connection, enjoy our welcoming Third Place, and a superb cup of expertly roasted and richly brewed coffee every time.

Coffee heritage and expertise has been at our core for 50 years, and as part of Starbucks investment in its premium coffee offering, this month, London’s Tower Place store will reopen after a major renovation, serving as a pinnacle of Starbucks retail, product, and innovation.

Our Tower Place store has been carefully designed to champion handcrafted coffee and celebrate coffee craft culture, complete with a dedicated space for the innovative Reserve Bar where customers can experience the first Black Eagle coffee machine in the UK. The state-of-the-art machine provides customers with advanced customisation options, such as adjusting the bean ratio, brewing time and water temperature – all operated by highly skilled baristas.

In addition to our usual Starbucks favourites such as Pike Place and House Blend, customers can now choose from rare batch coffees and three different brewing methods – including Starbucks Reserve™ Microblend No. 21, exclusive to Starbucks Reserve Bars.

Masterful roasting is what first attracted us to coffee, and it’s an expertise that we have practiced every day since we opened our first store at Pike Place Market. Now, customers visiting Tower Place in London will also be able to expand their own coffee roast knowledge during tasting sessions in store, hosted by Starbucks coffee experts.

The first week of opening will see coffee tasting sessions every day, open to the public and hosted by UK coffee champions ahead of Starbucks long-awaited annual Barista Championship later this year. As part of the sessions, customers will learn how to identify and appreciate different flavours of coffee and discuss the regions where the coffee beans are produced, as well as discover innovative coffee roasting and blending techniques

The newly renovated store has a contemporary design, offering customers the opportunity to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and relax with the comfortable seating and a spectacular view of the Tower of London.

The Tower Place store is conveniently located at 3, Tower Place West, London EC3R 5BT and open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
