Starbucks recognised as a Top Employer in Europe by Top Employers Institute

Starbucks has achieved a Top Employer certification across Europe by the Top Employers Institute, a leading independent auditor of HR practices. Starbucks also received country-level certification as a Top Employer in Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and UK.

The accolade recognises around 500 hundred of Starbucks stores, which employ over 7,000 thousand partners (employees), as well as the company’s regional head office. Starbucks was independently verified across key factors such as learning and development, company culture and the benefits on offer, to achieve the accreditation.

The Top Employers Institute is a global certification company recognising excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people. Speaking on receiving the honour, Sara Williams, HR senior manager, Starbucks EMEA, said:

“While this recognition is indeed an honour for us, our work to innovate and deliver an exceptional experience for our partners (employees) is never over. Being named a Top Employer in Europe is testament to the work of our vast team of partners who work tirelessly to create a culture of warmth and opportunity for those working in our stores.”
