240 Starbucks partners, friends and family join together to march in the Pride in London Parade

Saturday 8 July saw 240 Starbucks partners (employees), friends and family join together to march in the Pride in London Parade through central London. Starbucks partners marched under a giant ‘Love Happens at Starbucks’ balloon to celebrate the LGBT+ community.

Since its earliest days Starbucks has been committed to creating a culture of warmth and belonging, and embracing diversity in stores and the communities served. 2017 marks the third year that Starbucks has sponsored Pride in London.

Five stores along the Parade route hosted ‘Glam Stops’, helping marchers to get glammed and glittered up for free by professional make-up artists from The Gypsy Shrine, The Queens of Glitter.

Customers also enjoyed their favourite Frappuccino bought in participating London stores on the march route, topped with rainbow coloured heart sprinkles, creating the perfect ‘Instagrammable’ drink with an #ExtraShotOfPride.
