The Starbucks AEON Mall Mean Chey drive-thru store is fully equipped with a digital check-in system, a digital menu, and two-way audio and video screen to assist customers in ordering their favorite beverages and food.&nbsp; The seamless and convenient drive-thru experience is a great option for customers who prefer to enjoy their beverage from the comfort of their own vehicles, especially those who want to have their Starbucks fix on-the-go.

In addition to the drive-thru experience, the 1,018 sqm store also offers spacious dine-in area, providing customers a warm and welcoming third place to enjoy freshly brewed coffee and pastries.

On July 24, Starbucks celebrated its 21st anniversary in South Korea by opening the market’s largest Starbucks store in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggido near the scenic Namhan River. Spanning three stories and over 1,203 square meters (about 13,000 square feet), the new store is a reflection of Starbucks commitment to offering more ways for customers in Korea to enjoy the Starbucks Experience.

The Yangpyeong drive-thru store is the first Starbucks store in Korea to bring together a Reserve coffee bar, Teavana bar and drive-thru format. The result is a new experience for Korean customers that incorporates an interactive space with premium coffee and tea at the heart, featuring the ease and convenience of a Starbucks drive-thru.

Starbucks also shared plans to invite local talent to perform on the store’s rooftop, demonstrating Starbucks Korea’s ongoing efforts to create opportunities for young people in Korea.

New store demonstrates Starbucks vision for business expansion and long-term commitment in India

Today, Tata Starbucks Private Limited announced the opening of its first drive-thru store in India at Dhillon Plaza, Ambala Chandigarh Expressway, Singhpura in Zirakpur. The milestone demonstrates the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market, where it now has 187 stores, and vision of offering more ways for customers in India to enjoy the Starbucks Experience.

The opening of our first drive-thru store showcases our commitment to evolving our brand and business in India to provide new and meaningful experiences to our customers,” said Navin Gurnaney, ceo, Tata Starbucks Pvt. The drive-thru format offers added convenience for customers who want to pick up their orders from their car, or travelers on the go. Located next to the Chandigarh-Ambala highway, customers can also stop for a quick break to enjoy their Starbucks favourites in the café, with two levels of in-store seating, free Wi-Fi, Starbucks merchandise available for purchase, and the same wide range of menu items available at other Starbucks locations across India. At the drive-thru window, a Starbucks partner will greet each customer and take their order, adding an element of warmth to the experience.
