Starbucks Malaysia opened its fourth Signing Store in Permas City, Johor, seeking to redefine the café experience by fostering inclusivity, celebrating the talents of the Deaf and hard of hearing community, and creating an environment where everyone is welcome. This new store builds on the success of prior Signing Stores in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Sarawak.

On August 17th, Starbucks Malaysia proudly announced the inauguration of its first Signing Store in Borneo, located at Vivacity Megamall, Kuching. This store marks a significant milestone in the market as the third Signing Store in Malaysia after Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Starbucks newest Signing Store in Beijing, China, is the second in the market and sixth for the company globally.

Starbucks first Signing Store in Japan expands career opportunities for Deaf and hard of hearing partners (employees).

Starbucks will open its first Signing Store in Japan in early summer 2020.

The store creates opportunities for the Deaf and hard of hearing community as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, accessibility and diversity.
