Starbucks Korea has unveiled its latest locally developed coffee: Byulbit Blend, a single-origin Colombian coffee that honors Korean language and culture. Named after the Korean word for “starlight,” Byulbit Blend reflects Starbucks ongoing commitment to cultural storytelling through coffee.

This exclusive blend marks a meaningful milestone as Starbucks Korea celebrates its 26th anniversary. It is the second time the company has incorporated the Korean language into a coffee name, following the beloved Byuldabang Blend introduced in 2021.

Crafted with Culture and Care

Developed as a collaboration between Starbucks Korea and Starbucks global coffee experts over 18 months, Byulbit Blend is roasted using the Starbucks® Blonde Roast method, symbolized by a soft yellow hue reminiscent of twinkling starlight. The result is a bright, fruity coffee with sweet strawberry notes and a refreshing hint of hallabong, a citrus fruit native to Korea. This flavor profile is inspired by Korea’s vibrant and diverse palate.

The packaging is a visual tribute to Korean heritage, featuring iconic imagery such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, traditional hanok architecture, the Seoul skyline, and the first Starbucks store in Korea (Edae). Each element invites customers on a journey through Korea, one sip at a time.

Experience the Sparkle

To celebrate the launch, Starbucks Korea will host nationwide tasting events from October 13 to 17, offering complimentary samples of Byulbit Blend drip coffee daily at 3:00 p.m.
