Photo Essay: Starbucks at World of Coffee Bangkok
Against the vibrant backdrop of Bangkok, World of Coffee brought together farmers, roasters, baristas, and coffee lovers from around the world for meaningful connection, discovery, and celebration. For Starbucks, participation in this year’s event was an opportunity to bring to life the stories behind every cup and the partnerships that make them possible.

At the Starbucks booth, visitors were invited to experience coffee not just as a beverage, but as a craft shaped by people, place, and purpose. From immersive tastings to live demonstrations, partners (employees) guided visitors through the art and science of coffee, from bean to cup. Agronomists from the Starbucks Farmer Support Center in Sumatra shared how they provide field-based support for coffee farmers, regardless of whether they supply coffee to Starbucks.

Master Roaster Naoko from the Starbucks Tokyo Roastery was also on hand, unpacking the precision, craft and passion behind the roasting process and offering a behind-the-scenes look at how flavor is developed.

The spirit of craftsmanship and expertise extended beyond the booth to the global stage. Yi Xin a store manager from Starbucks Singapore represented Starbucks in the World Cup Tasters Championship held at World of Coffee, showcasing exceptional skill and sensory acuity. Her participation was a proud moment, highlighting not only individual excellence, but the depth of talent, dedication, and coffee knowledge of our Asia Pacific partners.
