Finding Joy in Everyday Moments: Starbucks Singapore’s Whimsical Collaboration for Mental Wellness
In celebration of World Mental Health Month, Starbucks Singapore invites customers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and with others.
This October, in celebration of World Mental Health Month, Starbucks Singapore invites customers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and with others, through a heartwarming merchandise collaboration that blends creativity, mindfulness and community impact.
A Whimsical Collaboration with Paintinks by Melt
At the heart of this initiative is a special collection created in partnership with Singapore-based artist Melissa Tan, known for her charming illustrations under the name Paintinks by Melt. Melissa’s artwork brings to life woodland animals enjoying simple pleasures like reading, listening to music, and sharing beverages, inviting us to rediscover the joy in life’s quiet, everyday moments.
Available exclusively in Singapore, the Starbucks® + Paintinks by Melt collection includes beautifully designed drinkware and journals. Each piece is a blend of storytelling and mindfulness, encouraging customers to slow down and savor the present.

But this collection is more than just delightful design—it’s a way to give back. For every item sold, SGD $1 (approximately USD $0.77) will be donated to charities supported by Starbucks Singapore’s Community Store at Active Garden, including Gardens by the Bay’s Gift of Gardens program and MINDSET Care Limited, both of which champion mental wellness in the community.
Creating Spaces for Connection
This year also marks the first anniversary of Starbucks Singapore’s Community Store. To celebrate, Starbucks is partnering with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) to co-create nurturing spaces for meaningful connections with community mental health teams. Customers are invited to participate in two signature programs—Let’s Listen and Let’s Chat—which offer opportunities to speak with counselors and access valuable self-care resources.
Making Every Cup Count on World Mental Health Day
On 10 October, Starbucks Singapore will mark World Mental Health Day with a simple yet meaningful gesture: SGD $0.50 (approximately USD $0.39) from every beverage sold across all stores in the market will be donated to The Salvation Army. This contribution supports counselling, resilience-building, and care programs for youth and families in need—reinforcing Starbucks Singapore’s 22-year partnership with The Salvation Army and its ongoing commitment to mental wellness.
A Culture of Care and Connection
These initiatives reflect Starbucks Singapore’s broader mission to nurture mental wellness through safe spaces, meaningful partnerships, and community-driven programs. From peer support training for partners (employees) to interactive sessions with youth and mental health professionals, Starbucks continues to foster a culture where conversations around mental health are welcomed and supported.
Whether through a cup of coffee, a journal entry, or a shared smile over whimsical drinkware, Starbucks believes that joy and connection can be found in the smallest of moments—and that together, we can make a meaningful difference.
